DOMHNALL

Named after sergeant Donald “Domhnall” Macleod from Ullinish this only bedroom based on the ground floor benefits from a spacious bathroom and is located next to the lounge.

ALEXANDER
King Room with sea view, sleeps 2
Former sheriff Alexander Macleod built the original farmhouse as a marital home in 1757 the year after his wedding. Featuring stunning views of the Cuillins through two spacious windows this is one of our largest suites with beautiful carved furniture and comfy seats.

MARGARET
Double room with garden view, sleeps 2
Named after Margaret Macleod the wife of Alexander this is our smallest but cutest room lovingly decorated with designed wallpaper, with a unique carved spiral post king bed.

RODERICK
King Room with garden view, sleeps 2
Roderick was the first Macleod who settled in Ullinish father of Alexander Macleod who helped to build the Ullinish House. The room is set in the new wing of the house built in 1800 and overlooking the garden. Its very calming and spacious with a great size shower room.

MAIRI
Twin room with sea/mountain view, sleeps 2
Bright and bold our twin room named after Gaelic poet Mairi Macleod from Ullinish offers amazing views of the Cuillins. Ther is some extra storage and lovely seating where you can enjoy your coffee while admiring the scenery.

JAMES BOSWELL
King Room with sea/mountain and courtyard view, sleeps 2
Boswell was a famous Scottish journalist who travelled the Hebrides with Dr Johnson not long after the lodge was built and stayed in that room in 1773 and included the lodge in his book "Journal of a tour to the Hebrides". The room is lavishly decorated with beautiful wallpaper and burgundy paneling and is probably the coziest of all but with a spacious shower room.

DR JOHNSON
King room with sea/mountain view, sleeps 2
Our biggest suite called after Dr Samuel Johnson a well known writer of his time who wrote the first English dictionary He stayed in this bedroom during his travels around the Hebrides and included Ullinish House into his famous book "A journey to the western islands of Scotland". The space is rich and moody to match the impressive half tester bed and antique furniture. The room has the best views from two large windows overlooking Loch Bracadale. You can enjoy a quick shower or relaxing roll top bath in a spacious bathroom.

ORONSAY SUITE
Spacious room is located on the ground floor and ideal for families with young kids. One big open plan space with double bed for parents, bunk beds for kids (tucked away in a special cupboard) and private lounge area. Please note the room has got a disabled access bathroom.
